Of course The Pirates won The Fun Round. They always do.
Good news for pretenders to the Fun Round crown is that Glen from The Pirates is off for 2 weeks to Lanzarote for legal reasons, so other teams may now have a chance of winning some shite biscuits and stuff.
Assisting The Pirates was 2 Pints by getting their joke censored.
All I will say about it was it involved a pun on the word "April". One meaning of "April" referred to the month of the year and the other "April" to that missing Welsh 5yr old girl with cerebral palsy April Jones.
Typically tasteful chaps!
Almost as a tribute to The Cross Keys, 2 Pints of Tennents team not only handed in a sick joke and arrived late, but swelled in number during the course of events just like they used to back in the good old days at The Keys. All we needed was a kicking in the car park after and it would be a proper Cross Keys tribute.
Fittingly it was quiz team This is Awkward who finished in last place.
This was wonderfully *Awkward*, as they would rather have scored a few more points.
