For the second time in as many quiz nights I was handed a poem in the Fun Round. 
This was an original creation by Honeymonster Doug - will it catch on I wonder?

There was a man in a red suit
Who turned out to be a queer fruit
He took his big boot
and fucked me with his foot
While Two Pints and The Pirates made oot

Surely it will become an xmas classic?!
Or maybe not.

Next week it's a £20 rollover - and when I say next week I do mean next week as there's pre-hogmanay fun to be had on Sunday 30th December!

A busy night in The Beef. Xmas spirit was in the air, and the shot glasses too as a few new faces tried to claim their first quiz crown.

In the end though, it was hardcore quiz regulars The Pirates who came through as champs, while regular money box raiders 2 Pints made it their business to take the money - again!

Most amusing moment of the night was the "racist joke" handed in by The Interracials. If anyone should know better...

I also had this related classic observational gag:

Q. How does a good racist joke start?
A. By looking over your shoulder, then saying "I'm not racist, but..." 

I may have added a little flourish there, but you get the (racist) idea.

Another disturbing jokes entry was written on a roll of duct tape. 
Typical Milngavie banter really.

I won't repeat what it said, but I can confirm it was a rape 'joke'...
Classy. I don't know what is more concerning - that someone handed it in, or that they had it in the boot of their car...

Thankfully though a member of the 2 Pints team showed it was possible to still drink a pint even if they were bound...

Next week it's an Xmas extravaganza, so come feeling festive or bah humbug if you have to.

A packed West Highland Gate, yet somehow amongst the throng of assembled quizzers everyone managed to get a table. Amazing given the extraordinary turnout.

Fighting off all their opposition The Pirates came first. Second place was quiz starlet Amy's new gang Universally Challenged. I'm not saying she's improved on The Honeymonsters, but there was no booing when she lost to The Beast.

The lovely Lynn was also held back from claiming the cash, so it's a BIG money Sunday again next week. Honest...
