I had a £300 bounty so it was fitting given the big cash prize it was The Bankers who got to have a go for the money. Obviously with popularity for the banking profession at an all time high, quiz regulars were gutted when The Bankers won nothing and the cash rolled over and up to £325. As a result Widden Pallet Alex said she would "give me a good one next week" and inadvertently caused much sniggering thereby winning the Fun Round with a bit of accidental off the cuff Carry-on Style impromptu double entendre. Another surprise the night was the round of applause going to a last place team who are normally fighting for the top spot. Luckily they had so much fun they weren't bothered too much about their last place finish. Phew!
A big thanks to Barman Pete for his hard work - especially since his coursework is due in tomorrow and all he has to hand in is a Tennents soaked beermat. Ah well, at least he has his bar career to fall back on!
