Another bustling night in Den. Say what you like about the kittens of Bearsden, but they do seem to love a bit of quiz in their face.

For a while it looked like the curse of the cards and The Beast were going to keep the cash rollover, but unusually named Goatsie Quitongo had other ideas and claimed my £50 cash prize.

Means we're back to £25 next week, but it's all good.

When I asked the Goatsie Gang what they would spend their £50 bounty on they said "Sex, Drugs and sausage rolls". At which point I directed them to the Greggs off Blythswood Square.

Team name of the night had to be Flying the Flag for North Korea. A team name that ignited our passion for the Olympics. A team name so good it's my Team Name of the Week!

Next week more cash prizes, more jokes and fun stuff and maybe a NEW champion quiz team? We'll see.

In a tough fought contest it was cheerfully named Team Ashes who left their opponents smouldering to burn off as winners!

Phyllis (far left) gambled their booze and got them a discount on the food bill, a decent prize as the grub at Den is top.

Phyllis's other gamble didn't go so well. Moral of the story is if you get dealt a Queen, keep it. After a stern inquisition from her team, it's safe to say she won't be making that mistake again.

It's the kind of burger Jeff Capes would struggle to finish. Nom nom nom.
