After weeks of anticipation it was the big showdown between Dukes most feared heavy hitting Quizteams, and never mind the Pope resigning, the question we all wanted to the answer too? Which poor sods would have to carry a case of Skol home?!
| Quizteam of The Month - Assorted Numbers of The Beast were out in force - but when it came to the tiebreak action it was Gallus regulars Quizzly Bears vs Dukes stalwarts Ra-Ra-Ratzinger who tied for pole position and ended up in the tiebreak mix. Lucky it was just a box of Skol up for grabs, so Quizzly Bears weren't too disappointed to lose out to the superior urban knowledge of Pete from the Pope resignation/Lady Gaga mash-up tribute team Ra-Ra-Ratzinger. Thankfully Team Tosh had a great time despite their usually not enjoying quiz nights and the such - glad to hear it ladies! How much of this was down to the talents of the quiz host and how much was down to the effects of the sparkly wine, we shall never know... |  |
In other news it was perennial round of applause whores Drunk Naked and Awkward who got the losers badge and learnt a hard lesson about bonus round buzz-in tactics to boot. Funny enough they also said that they also don't like Skol - what are the chances eh?!
