Lots of festive fun doon the stair the night in Bungo. Lots of festive cheer - especially from The Ladies and The Tramp who grabbed the last quiz win of 2012 in Bungo.

The Turkey burgers went down a treat.
The mulled wine went down a storm.
The Mince Pies went down - well, you get the idea!

The official announcement is a 29th Jan return - the rumour is we may get an upstairs quiz if we are lucky, we shall see...

Blast from the past was the arrival of Squadfather to the Bungo. They reckon the next time they are back they will avoid the round of applause - all the best with those lofty ambitions chaps! In a rare display of off the cuff hilarity Andy from Squadfather won the Fun Round with witty remark during the round - cashback!

Also returning tonight and getting their beer and burger on Ryan and Eve of Evel Rory fame. How was the Mexican burger? Double thumbs up. Nice.

Major event of the evening was Dee's birthday from All Ladies No Tramp. Her cake was lovely and we all sang her happy birthday, but we didn't give her the bumps for health and safety reasons.

A big come on down style welcome to the quiz to Quiz All Over Your Face who used to quiz in The Halt on Woodlands Rd, but have moved house and now live right near The Bungo. Handy!

Good news is next week's Xmas Quiz will probably have about £50 in the pot - bad news is that after next week the quiz is off until Tues 29th Jan due to a combination of things... (Xmas-NewYear-Soundproofingwork)

Taking the round of applause tonight was last week's winners Ladies and The Tramp. Insert your own witty remark here please about how you "can't have it your own way all the time"...

It's often the case that Quizteam of The Month The Gullibles come on to me strongly, and this was certainly the case tonight as they came back onto the winners podium they last graced when they won EVERYTHING. And yes, it was still sticky from the last time.

Barry and his Fun Team of musicians were very happy after winning the jokes contest. Here they are in berween headty chuckles at my hilarious Fun Book advertising next week's £90 bounty.

Rumour has it that next week's burger is inspired by the delights of Mexico, so best washed down with a shot of Tequila I think if you're feeling brave!

The excitement of the cash rollover gripped all the teams - and it wasn't just the cash that rolled over - as you can see the beer rolled over too and it was TWO cases this week. The Gullibles went for the wine though, so what we're all wondering now is will there be THREE cases next week?! We'll see...

If The Chancers continue at their current rate of expansion they'll be using every table in the pub next week trying for my £90+!
