Bungalow £160+ Rollover Next Week!

24/4/2013

The triumphant sound of the Bungo Drums this week as Team Bungo Drums claimed a victory.
Here they are with their winners certificate and fizzy wine looking like champions.
Picture
One of the best team names of the night here The Mighty Morphin Flower Arrangers!
They arrived fashionably early and in perfect time too. Good work kittens.
Picture
These guys were back after a no quiz disaster last week...
And they managed at least two bags of crisps!
Picture
Team Paaarp returned as Team Paaarp 2: Return of the Paaarp. How rude!
Picture
Some of the Naughty-Cool team are hiding here for legal reasons. All I will say is they were formerly members of Rolf's Cartoon Club...
Picture
The legendary Barry Deacon returned with another comedy pose. This week they were The 'F' Holes - next week will they be A Holes I wonder?
Picture
2 Much Pressure for these guys who finished in 3rd place...
If you were ever worried about the danger of not eating enough crisps, then this image should be a warning to you. This chap has only had 2 bags and it's simply not enough - more crisps please!
Picture
The winner of the fun round was this origami joke - two birds either side of a remark that it will be the closest I get to 2 birds in one night. Thanks guys!
Picture
Here's funnest team Ken Dodd's Dad's Dog's Dead with the LIGHTSABRE they won. Epic!
Picture
As the poster clearly says it's a £160+ rollover jackpot next week.
That's not too shabby!

Still £135+ Rolling Over!

18/4/2013

Next week we will surely break the £150 barrier when all the cash is counted.

If you intend to help make that happen, the Facebook event is here...

It's a £135+ Rollover Situation

11/4/2013

It was Ladies and The Tramp spin-off team Another Bunch of Dudes who DOMINATED the quiz this week. Such is their love for Margaret Thatcher that away from victory - they were not for turning! Ladies and The Tramp put a brave face on their close rivals triumph. #Awkward.

Here's how it finished...
Another Bunch of Dudes
Ladies & The Tramp
The 30th Birthday Adventures of Captain Fanny, Randy Ros & Optimus Cock
The North Korean Log Flume Attendants
Handsfree Lightsabres
Naughty-Cool
Basket Cases

Fittingly late arrivals The Basket Cases got the round of applause for their efforts.

Naughty-Cool only got back from New Zealand last week following the end of their career as Jimmy Savile impersonators. Despite the scandal they kept it light with this pun:

My best friend died of indigestion...
...I can't believe Gav-is-con.

Thankfully they found a great spot to display their new badge!
Picture
Classic. Next week fewer Margaret Thatcher questions I promise and a £135+ rollover too - though as you can see, the poster is s bit camouflaged!

£100+ Bungo Quiz Next Time!

4/4/2013

Picture
These guys here won the fun round for a lobster that was 'giving it all that'. Classic.
Hopefully I'll find it one day among the piles of jokes I have here at quiz HQ, as you can hardly see it squeezed into the corner of this photo. Shame.
Here's how it ended...
Bungovites  Winners
Excessive Consumption May Have Laxative Effect
Quiz Akabusi
Laydees
Please Please Respect Cyclists
Ranifer
Korea Advisors
 Applause

If you are expecting your team to come to the quiz with you, don't forget to make arrangements by phone or in person, otherwise you may end up like a lone Laydee...
Picture
Here is a shot of the winning team sat in the dark. Trust me, they look better this way!
Picture
I asked Excessive Consumption who drew this picture of a knob and they all turned away from the camera...
Picture
The losing team were very happy with their badge!
Picture
Next week a £100+ bumper rollover extravaganza!

This week's burger is argentinian themed Chimichurri and paprika burger with a refreshing bottle of Quilmes.
Bang tidy.
