A new quiz, and a new jackpot game - Matt from Where's the Ham & Pineapple picked no.7 & it didn't work out so well for him. Sorry Matt.

A wonderful array of old faces at the quiz, OA's were out in force, Dr Crack's Face Splash made it along, and Captain Fanny brought a whole load of new cocks to the party. Nice. Here's her poster in glorious close-up.

When I heard the former Bier Stube had a refurb and reopened it's doors as "Jayz". I had to go and take a look. And the news? It's good news! The place has had a major overhaul and is now ready for a new quiz night!

I took the Lady Annabel for this secret visit and it must have been decent, because the wedding is still on. The food was fantastic, with the highlight this melt in the middle chocolate fondant desert. Even if you are just in for a pint I advise you have one! There's a good wait for one too, so you know it's fresh and it tastes restaurant quality. Beautiful. Here's a picture that doesn't do it justice!
