How can you ensure Staff enjoy a party?

In order to ensure maximum numbers at the event Darren sold tickets at £10 each to his colleagues and arranged a refund of the £10 at the door when they turned up. Unconventional, but it worked!

He put on a buffet and booked Sir James to provide 'Pub Quiz' style entertainment. This gave interactive opportunities, a structure and a competitive element which also increased participation.

Darren's feedback from previous work nights had indicated that people liked chocolate, pakora and ABBA, so every table had a box of chocolates and a pakora selection. The first few tunes were ABBA!

In order to keep the vibe informal a local cafe hosted the night. Previous events at city hotels had been more formal and did not offer the same value. 

The event was such a success that Darren indicated the next day that everyone wanted the same thing again next year.
