They won every quiz they could at former venue The Corona - taking home more money in vouchers for Clintons Cards than has ever been spent at Clinton's Cards before. 

The only thing that could stop them winning - their non-attendance.

For all these reasons, and many more I can't disclose for legal reasons - they are officially August 2012 Pub Quiz Team of The Month.

They can now be found amongst other quiz legends in my Gallery of Champions.

Sometimes there is a quiz team whose dedication to the Pub Quiz is above and beyond that of the casual drinker.

The Pirates are consistently the team who bring the most banter to the quiz, the most jokes and therefore the most fun.

Elevating them to Quiz Team of the Month is Team Captain Glen's offer to guest host a quiz takeover in Milngavie.

As a joke on Facebook this month I suggested teams might like to try going to The Pourhouse Quiz and then coming to try and win The Gallus quiz.

I forgot you need to be careful what you joke about since quiz legends Handsfree Lightsabres took this as a challenge rather than a joke.

In June 2012 they went to The Pourhouse and then to The Gallus Quiz and scored respectably in both. 

For outstanding efforts in the field of attending the pub quiz I salute you Handsfree Lightsabres.
Arise for I knight you Quiz Team of the Month.
