Breaking News: Handsfree Lightsabres have extended their unbeaten reign in The Pourhouse with Aanother win. The only thing they couldn't win was the money!

The BIG cash went the way of B & H after a few other teams had failed at the cairds. Needless to say they were delighted with £150 of good time notes to spend.

I was fitting some furniture the other day when all the books came crashing down onto my head. I suppose I've only gt my shelf to blame.

Well, it was either that one or the one involving Paralympians.

B & H obviously didn't think things were going that well judging by their running commentary of their night, that was handed in on their Feedback Form.

It seems they also "got a shot/shag/shat". Delete as appropriate ladies.

I'll see you next Wednesday at 8pm for more laughs and a £50 jackpot.

The Handsfree Lightsabres did it again, this time beating a record number of teams at the Pourhouse quiz.

They destroyed the other teams to rack up their 6th quiz win on the trot which is a record across all of Sir James' venues.

It stood at 5 wins with both the Honeymonsters and 19th Hole sharing the glory, but move over teams there is a new dominating force in town. And the majority of them are gingers in some way, shape or form. Shock horror.

The team receiving the Round of Applause were We should win as it's our birthday and the Funnest Team were B & H - Going for Gold. It was a tense affair but the winning joke was...

A Scottish man has raised a dispute with eBay.
He claims that the Wii Game Boy he received wasn't what he was expecting.

*Silence*

It wasn't until they explained that it should have read Scottish paedophile instead of Scottish man, that the joke makes a bit more sense. When a joke comes in already censored, you know it deserves to win!

The Pourhouse's 1st cojoined twins win Fun Round
After all the hilarity it came to Janet from Handsfree Lightsabres to try and win the cash and, after beating the cairds - as she does on a monotonously regular basis! - she faced The Beast once more. This time for £130. Would she manage it...?

Looking at the picture opposite, it's obvious she didn't as the jackpot rolled over to £150 with a lovely poster being designed by Brenda & Helen of B & H - Going for Gold.

Sorry for only mentioning three teams, but we would be here forever if I tried to namecheck them all...

The one thing they couldn't do though was grab the cash, so it's a £130 rollover situation unless I am mistaken.

Handsfree Lightsabres have won the quiz in The Pourhouse more times than I've had hot dinners, but then come to think of it I usually just have a Mars bar and Irn Bru for dinner.

And guess who won again tonight?

They were behind going into the final round, they had to gamble and they weren't confident... 

They really weren't expecting to win - their team name going into the final round was 'it was a good run while it lasted for the Handsfree Lightsabres' but the gamble paid off and they got full marks in the last round to come on top of all 6 teams. Oops pardon.

The Beast also won, so it's a life changing £110 Jackpot next week.
