Don't ask me how, because it's mathematically impossible to explain... But the quiz jackpot somehow rolls up to £225. Maybe it's witchcraft?! If it is witchcraft, it's a week early since the Halloween fancy dress quiz here is next week, with a £225 jackpot. Yes. As pictured Ebola Soup won tonight. Topical. See you next week! Chin chin Sir James This week these guys won an Ebola face mask. Next week you can win £100. Make it happen. Chowmein! Sir James Tonight's winners WTF Happened to Us? and I'll tell you what happened to them - they took their Champion's certificate and sparkly wine away, but Shaun here was beat by The Beast - so it's a £75 situation next week. Controversial talking point of the night was Ali from Ali Amjad's Lonely Hearts Club; The Comeback Tour 2.7 winning with a classic about a Peado priest. This was to the outrage of Ad Hoc who were convinced their joke was definitely funnier... Was it a proper funny? Well I'll put it in my weekly email so you be the judge! Next week - more joke controversy plus a £75 rollover... And in 3 weeks a special Halloween fancy dress quiz with spooky cocktails and prizes for the best dressed! I can't wait. Chowmein! Sir James It's a big fifty quid rollover next week in Den. Don't even ask me how many body cokes you can buy in Framptons for that... However two guys who do know this are tonight's winners here! Yes, they called themselves "Wish I Was in Framptons" and you can guess where they went to celebrate their win. Straight to Frammies! Next week there's double biscuits and the taxi to Framptons is waiting... Until then - Chowmein! Sir James Well done to Wee Malkies here who scooped the £350 jackpot - cash back! Luckily the winning team here managed to put a brave face on it. Their first time at the quiz they couldn't believe it when their final round gamble paid off and they claimed a debut victory! Next week it's a £25 prize, but with banter that couldl make you grow a beard. Lots of love Sir James Thanks to Captain Stu for babysitting Thanks to Captain Stu for babysitting Den quiz. Thankfully the place was still standing. This week regular champs Ad Hoc did the business again. They ran off so quick with their sparkly wine & certificate - quicker than Milliband, Cameron & Clegg running away home back to their second homes. New member of The Wee Malkies took on The Beast. Poor Duncan near enough shat himself, and gave us a £325 rollover too. Nice. Next week then, don't forget to vote for something and then come get £325 off me. Chow for now Sir James These kittens claimed the Winner's certificate with the kind of score that makes the regular teams cry themselves to sleep. With the biggest tears on their pillows, it was quiz regulars Wee Malkies who were totes emosh after they only finished a few points above the round of applause. The only thing that could snap them out of their self-indulgent sobbing was the news that the big cash jackpot was getting bigger - yes it's a £275 situation next week! How very interesting. Chowmein! Sir James As Hoc maxed the quiz tonight with an awe inspired 62 points. They grabbed the sparkly wine and ran off before I could get photographic evidence of their awesomeness. How stealth. A top quiz with some excellent banter the night and as The Beast was a bastard and rolled his jackpot up to £250 next week, I can only assume it will be the place to be next week too. See you there Chowmein! Sir James |
